The Foster Pack Committee, consisting of experienced mentors, volunteers, and staff, is dedicated to supporting our foster families. 

 

We are here to assist with every step of the adoption process:

• Promotion: We can help you gather updated photos and videos to refresh your foster’s bio and promote them on our social media channels.

• Events: We will keep you informed about upcoming adoption events where you can showcase your foster.

  • You can join the CARE STL organization on the POINT app and sign up to bring your foster to adoption events!​

• Applications and Meet-and-Greets: We can assist with responding to inquiries and coordinating meet-and-greets with potential adopters.

• Foster Transitions: If you feel your foster pet needs a change of environment to gain new visibility, we can help find a new foster placement.

• Transfer Options: If you wish to continue fostering your current pet but prefer a different path, we can explore transferring them to another rescue partner while you remain their primary caregiver.

 

We understand that factors like technology barriers, transportation issues, or health and mobility challenges can make extra tasks difficult. We are here to handle the heavy lifting for you.

Additionally, if you are personally considering adopting your foster pet but have questions or concerns, please let us know; we are happy to talk through those with you. Our goal is to ensure your foster pet finds a loving home and avoids a return to the shelter.
