Give them a break.
Our shelter pups would love a fun day out with you! If you are looking for a fun and meaningful way to help, take one of our shelter pups out for a few hours or for the entire day! Whether it is time at the park or cuddling up at your home, you will make our dog's day by spending time with them.
1.
Visit the shelter at 2700 Walnut Place. You'll need to fill out some forms for the program. Don't worry, it only takes a few minutes.
Doggy Day Out
The process is simple and makes a huge impact.
Tell us what kind of day you are planning and about your dog experience. One of our adoption counselors will help you find the perfect buddy for the day!
2.
3.
Take a dog out for the day! We'll provide you with everything you need — a leash, waste bags and treats.
How this helps!
Giving a dog a break from the shelter helps reduce stress and increases their chances of being adopted. You are also giving a dog much needed attention and love, and helping us learn more about their personality! It's a few hours of your day that could make a HUGE difference for a dog!
