CARE STL wants to help families keep the pets they love. Many resources are available in our community to help care for your pets.
Veterinary care
CARE STL is proud to now offer low-cost routine wellness services for any animals adopted from us. These services are offered by appointment only.
Please email medical@icarestl.org if you are interested in the following services:

Preventative annual vaccines (Canine DHPP, canine Bordetella, feline FVRCP): $15 per vaccine

Rabies vaccine: $10

Veterinary exam: $50

Ear cleaning: $10

Fecal analysis - $10
-
Heartworm test - $15

Non-emergent concerns, such as minor skin or ear issues, and limping (cost varies).
We only take appointment requests via email. Please email medical@icarestl.org to request an appointment. We do not accept walk-in appointments.
Please note the following before requesting an appointment:

After the appointment is accepted, payment for these services must be made at the time of scheduling the appointment.

We do not allow pet owners in the exam area. A veterinary assistant or technician will greet you and your pet in the lobby.

At the time of appointment we will require a "veterinary service consent" form to be completed.

Pet food and supplies
CARE STL offers a pet food bank to assist families in feeding their pets and is available during business hours. We also provide donated supplies to families as they are available. If you're in need of a specific item, please call CARE to see if they item is available
