CARE STL IS IN CRISIS MODE!

FOSTERS ARE NEEDED. SUPPLIES ARE NEEDED!

 

Over the past 12 days, a total of 97 animals have been given refuge at our shelter, with 55 of them being large dogs. Unfortunately, overcrowding has become a severe issue nationwide, and our shelter is not immune to it. As a result, many of our adult dogs are facing difficulty in finding a home, leading them to stay with us longer and undergo high levels of stress. This can result in emotional exhaustion and mental health crises, which is heartbreaking for all of us. Currently, most dogs are on medication to manage their stress levels, which is not the ideal situation. Furthermore, due to the limited space inside the building, some dogs are being housed in outdoor runs, which is not sustainable during hot weather. We urgently need your assistance to find these dogs the loving forever homes they deserve.

 

At this time, we have an urgent need for temporary foster homes. If you choose to foster, rest assured that we will provide all the necessary supplies, including crates, food, toys, medicines, and training resources. All we ask is that you give your foster pet the love, care, attention, patience, and understanding they need as they adjust to their new temporary home with you. Your support can make a huge difference in the lives of these animals in need.

Thanks to their kind donation, we are able to offer all adult animals at our shelter for adoption at the reduced fee of only $25.
